The Helper of the Orphan

Arise, O Lord;

O God, lift up Thy hand. Do not forget the afflicted...

The unfortunate commits himself to Thee;

Thou hast been the helper of the orphan...

O Lord, Thou hast heard the desire of the humble;

Thou wilt strengthen their heart, Thou wilt incline Thine ear

to vindicate the orphan and the oppressed...

Psalm 10:12, 14, 17-18

I am praying this morning and asking you to do the same for this little girl and her family. She is from S's country, and along with many others in very bad conditions, needs to get home quickly! Please read her amazing story and join me in praying for her today!

While she sits in her orphanage, our 1800a application sits in a stack on some one's desk at the USCIS office. It's been sitting in this stack since the middle of September, and it's beyond frustrating to know that precious time is lost waiting on government bureaucracy and red tape. Enough said...

Please pray that our file will be assigned an adjudicator quickly and that there will be no delays in receiving our approval to adopt S!

Yet God is my king from of old,
